Pramila did Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from Tribhuwan University, Nepal. She is a founder member of Kasthamandap Artist Group and E-Arts Nepal and executive member of WAGON.

She has 12 solo exhibitions in her portfolio and has participated in more than 100 group art exhibitions both Nationally and Internationally. She has participated in numerous workshops and recidencies in Nepal and aboard.

She was awarded National Awards in 1998 and 2004 that organized by the NAFA. Similarly she was awarded  Arniko Yuba kala Puraskar in 2002 and in 2008 she was awarded by Birla Art Academy in a professional category; organize by Camel Art foundation. In 2019 She was awarded by Vadra Kumari Ghale Lalit Kala Purskar.
