Mike Krajniak Background 1971- 1982. Trained as an Industrial Designer, I worked initially in low cost housing design and construction supervision (Bangladesh) and also developed income generation projects (handicrafts) for low income village people. 1982- 2000. I transferred to Nepal and cofounded ACP (Association for Craft Producers) and the Dhukuti Handicraft shop in Kupondol. My task included design, training and market development of Nepali handicrafts for local and export sales. 2000-2020. Among other activities, I joined the K/U Art & Design Center and developed an interest in oil painting and have since participated in art exhibitions at the Art Council, Siddhartha Gallery, Imago Dei Gallery Café and the Taragaon Museum Art Gallery.
