Visual Artist

Kishor Nakarmi is a visual artist born in 1978 April 2. He has completed Master’s in Fine Art from Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur, Nepal. His professional experience includes being an art teacher at various schools. He is active in art field since 2004. He is involved in art sector for more than a decade. He specializes in painting but he also works in other medium. Till now he has exhibited three solo exhibitions in year 2005, 2009 and 2014.

He has participated in more than 50 group exhibitions since 2004. Widely travelled he has exhibited his creations globally and his artworks were selected for national and international group exhibitions held at countries like South Korea, Bangladesh, India, et cetera. Along with that he has been the part of several workshops. He is the life member in groups such as Rising Artist Group of Nepal and Fame Group, Bangladesh. On numerous occasions he was felicitated and honored for his outstanding contribution. Recipient of several awards he has won special award organized by Heavy Equipment Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal in 2016, first prize in The Logo Competition in 2010, 2 nd prize winner in 50 th anniversary of Thailand-Nepal Diplomatic Relations, Org. by Royal Thai Embassy Kathmandu 2009. Fine Art Special Award 3 rd National Exhibition of Fine Arts Nepal 2013. First prize in The 9 th Eastern Region Art Competition organized by Camlin Art Foundation, India in 2008 among others.
