Nabin Nalbo (Nepal)

Nabin nalbo from Jhapa, Nepal born in 1989. Nabin did his BFA from Kathmandu University Centre for Art and Design. He has participated in several group art exhibitions, such as National art and Craft Exhibition organized by NAFA (2012 to 2814), participated in caricature exhibition organized by Cartoonist’s club of Nepal 2017, Artist Unite-Call for Action at Siddhartha Art Gallery 2014, Kalajatra exhibition at Patan Museum 2013, and he helped American artist Pepon Osorio in his art project resting stops: an alternative pilgrimage which was carried out in Nepal in 2009.
Thousand shades of nude

The drawing is about the Kapil Mani Dixit who is a renowned contemporary nude figurative artist of Nepal. The artist likeness, character is portrayed. In this drawing the artist huge large drawing nude figure of male and female is on the background, pile of sheet of papers on the floor are drawn. He seems to be working process inside the studio, artist is holding huge flat brush with wet black colour which shows the continuous bunch of works going on and works had to be done on future. He also use the hands to paint the huge life size painting. The artist is regarded as the few whose works are based on nude figurative art in to closer form in Nepal. The nude art is still regarded as odd to exhibit. There are almost very few we can see the show exhibition of nude figurative art. The artist contribution on the nude figure art practice is remarkable on Nepalese contemporary art scenario.
