Visual Artist
“I, Bishowmber basnet born in 1990, currently live in Kathmandu Nepal. I enjoyed art from the childhood, but to make carrier choice was difficult.
I did his BBA from liberty college, pokhara university, where I was active in social activities from red cross and rotract. During end of BBA semester untimely death of friend made me realize how uncertain life is, the only truth “death”. This event pushed me to chose art as carrier.
I joined lalilkala campus, art college in Nepal, but could not continue my art education. Now I am learning from everyone. Art is fun, helps you think and see different perspective. Everyone are busy in life , I observe them and take inspiration from them and my life event.
I am experimenting with different ideas and mediums. My current favorite is wire. I am mixing gi wire and copper wire to find the relation, tell the stories and enjoy the process.

“What we perceive with senses, not always true. The complication of human existence suffers in the duality of the tangible and the abstraction. The human form, a beauty, has many senses. Tangible or abstract, we visualize with our own conviction. The lady human form, a beauty in every sense is often objectified. A gender seems to be analogous with sexuality, and seems to be less interested in what makes the human a being, focusing only in veil of lust in the human form and gaze towards female gender seems to be limited to hyper sexualized form of a woman. The lady stands tall with all perfection and imperfection.”
