Meet the Curators!
We would like to thank all the partcipants for making this show possible.
The “Virtually Nude Show” presents a body of work that shows a variety of artistic expressions and understanding of nude form of art through a contemporary approach. Each country and its culture has different values and beliefs towards nude human figure – which we have tried to put together by bringing artists from 20 countries.
The show reflects how 57 artists from 20 countries have portrayed nude in the form of paintings, installations, photography, sculptures, video, drawing and digital arts. Each piece of art has its own narratives- whether it is depicted as a nude human figure or just in a form of a single body part, highlighting nudity as a form of artistic expressions. Each art work has some kind of personal stories and experiences of individual artists.
We are honored to have so many talented and accomplished artists from so many countries participating in this exhibition. We are highly thankful to each artist for contributing their time and effort in making this exhibition possible under such a pandemic situation. We wish all artists a great success. Through this exhibition we would also like to celebrate unity in diversity by showcasing nudity as a form of art. We hope this diverse flavor will be able to attract the audience as this show explores different forms and different layers of nudity in art that are expressed via different mediums.
