Kabi Raj Lama is a print maker based in Kathmandu. Having lived through the tsunami in Japan and the earthquake in Nepal, his work continues to reflect the complexities of disasters through an intimate portrayal of personal encounters.  Lama has been documenting the fall out from the 2015 Gorkha earthquake, through architectural artifacts and cultural objects in his works. Currently he is  teaching printmaking as a visiting faculty at the Department of Art and Design at KU.
